From 2002 to 2009, Prokopiak served as a Falls Township Supervisor.  While in office, together with Jonathan Snipes and Bob Harvie, Prokopiak changed the direction of Falls Township.  He voted for programs that led to high paying jobs coming to Lower Bucks County and expanded recreational access, including fully opening the Falls Community Park, renovating the Pinewood Pool, and providing river access to the public via a boat ramp.

Prokopiak championed innovative programs, including implementing a pilot program to switch all of the Township’s streetlights to energy efficient LEDs, which when completed led to hundreds of thousands of dollars of savings for the taxpayers and reduced costly lawsuits against the township.  During his 8 year term, he never raised property taxes.

Since 2022, Prokopiak has also served as a Bucks County Redevelopment Authority member, where he has advocated for redevelopment projects in Lower Bucks County.

Prokopiak will fight to restore the American dream for all in Lower Bucks County.  He will champion legislation that will attract quality jobs that pay a livable wage to Bucks County, provide attainable housing, affordable healthcare coverage, and ensure that public education is fully funded.  He will fight to ensure that skills and vocational training is available to all, andwill protect women’s reproductive rights.

Jim Prokopiak is a seasoned advocate for positive change in our community, and is determined to bring a better future for the people of Lower Bucks County.
